Key Club is handing out free food boxes for Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday, November 23, starting at 10:00 a.m. in front of the main entrance to RHS.
The boxes will be handed out in a drive-thru, first-come first-served, format. You don't even have to get out of your car. We will only give out 1 box per car until everyone in the line gets a box. People are welcome to get back in line in case we have extra boxes. The line starts forming early...
Box contents:
1 - family-size bag of instant potatoes
2 - cans of turkey gravy
2 - (6 oz.) boxes of stuffing mix or 1 (12 oz.) package or box
4 - cans of green beans
2 - cans cream of mushroom soup
1 - small container or bag of crispy onions
1 - can of cranberry sauce
1 - can of corn
1 - bag of mini marshmallows
1 - can yams/sweet potatoes
1 - frozen pumpkin pie
1 - (12 ct.) pkg. brown and serve rolls
1 - pound of margarine
1 - disposable aluminum pan for cooking turkey
1 - ~12-20 pound turkey
If you would rather have a hot meal delivered to you on Thanksgiving Day, please call the Senior Center at 856-6332 to get on the list. There will also be a prepared meal at the main fairgrounds building on Thanksgiving Day. The meal will start at noon.
This is all possible through many generous community members, churches, businesses, service groups (Rotary and Kiwanis), etc.
